Rain

It poured all weekend, but I've heard somewhere that there's no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing. I put on my wellies and wandered round Chartwell and Ightham Mote in Kent to see what I could capture.

I found that by letting in more light I could take these close up pictures of autumn hips. The great thing about going out in the rain was that there weren't many people around and of course there was the added interest of the raindrops.

When the rain stopped I went into Clementine Churchill's rose garden at Chartwell and played around with composition.
