I love the verticals in spring time, the leaves have not yet covered the trees so the trunks can show off their architectural shapes. The children provide a sense of scale and show wonder at the natural world.

These willow branches are the supports for fruit bushes in the kitchen garden. They remind me of the structure of a cathedral with a nave down the middle.

The wonder continues underfoot. Bluebells mingle with old autumn leaves. Life is erupting from the ground in the sunshine. The children are growing too, they won't stay like this. It is a precious memory of a happy Easter holiday.

Discovery.
The children are absorbed and intrigued by their new environment.

Joy
The fun of play in the sun. These hammocks were in an area called the Canadian camp.

Like a scene from an Enid Blyton book. The young explorers head home after a beautiful day. The water smooth as a mirror.
